The
REGULAR MEMBERSHIP
meeting will be on
Tuesday,
June
2, 2009 at 7:00 P.M., 8600 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City,
MO, Lower Level.

THE GENERAL ELECTION
of all Officers, all Board Members,
one Trustee for each of the following funds, Pension, Health
& Welfare, and Savings will be held Saturday, June 6, 2009
from 12:00 Noon to 7:00 P.M., at the Union Hall, 8600
Hillcrest Rd., lower level. Only eligible Journeymen
members, as provided in
the Local Union 533's By-Laws and the United Association
Constitution, who are in good standing, may vote. To be in
good standing, your dues must be paid through the month of
March
2009 by 4:00 P.M. Friday, June 5, 2009, and you cannot owe
or have paid a reinstatement fee (a late penalty) one year
prior to
the date of the election. The election will be supervised
by
Judges and the Kansas City Board of Election Commissions
with voting devices by secret ballot. No dues’ payments will
be accepted on Election Day.

Johnny F. Kessler, Jr., 76,
of Kansas City, Missouri passed away May 13, 2009. He was
initiated July 25, 1955 and retired September 1, 1991. His
son, Steve Kessler is also a member of the Local.

Bob Burks is at the Union Hall every Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. to 4:30
P.M. and later at Union Meeting held the first Tuesday night of
each month.

- RETIREES
The Pipe Fitter Retirees will meet the third Wednesday,
June 17th,
at
the union hall, lower level. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. and
Lunch served at Noon. As usual we ask you to bring a covered
dish, salad and/or dessert and your own place settings,
drinks
will be provided. The always popular BINGO will be played;
cash prizes. A special invitation is extended to our
disabled members to attend along with retirees, wives,
widows and guests for great
food and company. See you there!

available based on enrollment and schedule. |

PIPEFITTERS APPRENTICESHIP
PROGRAM
Applications for the Apprenticeship Program will
only be available on the first Monday of every
month, unless that Monday is a holiday,
applications will then be available on the
following Monday. An application can be picked
up at the Training Center from 8:00 A.M. until
4:00 P.M. on the specified Monday only. An
application can be returned to the Training
Center Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M.
until 4:30 P.M.. Anyone interested in
information regarding the Training Center or the
Apprenticeship Program may call for information
